about getting pierced
Express yourself through body modification
Each child that gets their first piercing here will be awarded with a commemorative certificate, and a goodie bag with candy inside.
make your child’s first ear piercing a memorable event
We pierce children’s ears starting at age 5, as long as the child is fully consenting! Consent is a very important thing to the staff here at Nocturnal Ink.
Although piercing a newborn child’s ears have been long practiced in many cultures, we have noticed that as the child grows: the placement ends up being in an incorrect spot. Waiting until your child is at least 5 years old is the perfect age for them to be old enough to understand how important it is for you to be able to clean their piercings as well.
Our on-site jewelry for children is implant grade titanium, with is nickel free and completely hypoallergenic. If you would like something more stylish or actual gold, we are able to special order jewelry for your appointment as well. Aftercare Product is always included with children’s lobe piercings.
